If I'm correct the E740 has a CF card slot. In that case you can use two types of techniecs: WiFi or GPRS.

WiFi gives your device a connection to the internet via a wires LAN. A draw back is that the coverages is still limited to big cities. I can't recomand any cards, because i have never realy looked for them, but I know that they are out there. On the plus side, this is the fastes techniek availble at this moment. for mobile surfing.

GPRS uses the GSM network. You have to check GSM provider for there covarege. Here in Holland the coverage is completly the same (99%). I have ordered the RTM-8000 from AudioVox. This little basterd not only connects me to the internet, but it also turns my iPaq into a mobile phone. (It has a TriBand GSM chip included so it works in Europe aswel as in the US). One minor draw back is that it is not as fast as WiFi. ~They~ say that the speed of GPRS is comparable with a 33K analog connection.

I'll try to add some performance comments when I get it working.
