I bought a refurbished 2215 and it keeps popping up with messages that the backup battery is low.

The first time I saw it I went to the Power Settings and it told me the backup battery was at 75%. Ever since then every time I go there it's 100%. It seems to come up a couple minutes after every time I start using it.

Is this a problem because it was shipped with the main battery out of it? Maybe since it's refurbished it was trying to save the old settings with the backup battery?

How do I make the messages stop?


This thing also had a problem where the screen-pen alignment got out of sync several times a day, but that seems to have been fixed with a hard reset. It's been 24 hours with no reoccurrence. But the hard reset didn't do anything for the backup battery message.

I think there is a feature that lets you select at what point you get a battery'low' warning. By default my 1940 told me at 40%. It is adjustable.
