On my Ipaq 3950, the photo on the today screen is displayed with much more brightness than the same photo in acdsee.

How can I fix this ? This way, the photo is hardly visible. And making the photo itself darker doesn't always get a good result.

PS the brightness of the display in general is already set to the minimum

I think I might try another photo...especially if you have it set to minimum. I have a 3970 and a 5555 and have never experienced any difficulty.

If you use the standard backgrounds...is it the same effect?

I've tried many photo's all with the same effect. And to be clearer: when I wrote acdsee, I meant acdsee for pocketpc! So the comparison is on the same device. It must be a setting of the today screen.

What happens when you choose the "default" background?
