Woo Hoo!!

:D *:p I'm the first forum member here!!

Anyway, I am a day-1 proud owner of iPaq 3850. It's my first PocketPC device. And it's cool!!!

(but somebody please tell me how can I get Adobe Acrobat Reader for PocketPC2002 installed on my iPaq 3850)

Anyhow, I was just tad bit pissed off with the new Windows CE .NET releasing in January... *??? * *:(

Well... Hear from y'all soon :)

Okay... alright... I said i have problem getting acrobat reader for pocketpc to work... now i've resolved the problem. :)

For future reference, if in any case, that your setup isn't working... do the following steps.

1) Unplug your PocketPC from the docking cradle (or disconnect from ActiveSync).
2) Lay the device on the floor.
3) Wear the industrial-toe-guard boots, and stomp on the device until it is cosmetically ruined. :)

(okay okay okay!! so the story doesn't go that way!)

Real steps to do...
1) Disconnect the device (in this case, PocketPC) from the docking cradle (or USB/Serial connection).
2) Perform and soft reset (consult your manual for where the soft reset button is).
3) Reconnect the device back onto the docking cradle.
4) Start the installation/activesync activities.

*and if up until now, it still doesn't work?*
5) Remove the device from the docking cradle, and restart your desktop system.
6) Once the desktop system is restarted, reconnect your device back onto the docking cradle and try installing again. (and of course the ActiveSync is needed for all activities between desktop and pocketpc)

Hope that works/solves the problem, it solved mine :)
