Before I do a hard reset to get Windows Media Player back in working order
on my Axim, I thought I would ask for input on whether it is worth going
through the pain, or perhaps you might suggest a superior application and
why and where to find it.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to reply.

Hi
Windows media player is the only media player supporting microsofts wma
files, with this format you get the best compression on your music files. so
i would recomment you to make the hard reset :-)

I have just started uing G2Player, this seems exceleent, poor playlist
creation aside and it is freeware. Comes with a built in equaliser, which
I like.
It does not support WMA if this is important ? I personally prfer using
LAMEs ABR codec set on low for a better quality sound then WMA.
I only use it for MP3's, there is a thred on Brighthand about it.
