I know this might be a newbie question but are there any Pocket PC's out
there that use the USB2.0 standard (for faster data xchange?)
Thanks in advance,
Mike

The limit on PPC to PC transfers is NOT USB's speed, it is ActiveSync. If
you want to transfer data faster to your memory cards a memory card reader
for your PC is the way to go. TTYL

This is fine for large files like music files, but you will still need to
use active sync for any document or application files since active sync
converts them to the pocket pc format.
For example you can not just copy a word file to a memory card and install
in in your pocket pc since the file needs to be converted by active sync to
pocket word format in which you lose some of the formatting options like
headers and footers in the file.

FWIW a word file does not NEED to be converted to pocket word format, word
documents open just fine in Pocket word. The same is true for pocket Excel.

While I cannot say my research is 100%... I have not seen any device that
supports USB 2.0.
