When I connect my PPC (HTC Touch) to my PC using the USB cable, I get an
error on the PPC saying that it's unable to get an IP address. I've checked
my DHCP service on the PC and it is up and running. While the connection is
created and I get access to all my PPC files, Activesync does not syncronize
anything (I end doing it by bluetooth)

Any idea?

Please follow my blog: I've answered this q several times in there.

The solution is just going to Settings / Connections / USB-something and
unticking the "advanced" checkbox.
