There are a few graphics tablets on the market which can be used with
Microsoft Word under Windows XP for handwriting input. But I would
have thought that using a PDA would be better, since they already have
built-in reliable handwriting recognition and they are more convenient
to carry around than a graphics tablet.

I have only found one piece of software that purports todo this,
called "Pocket Tablet" - see http://www.entisoft.com/pocketTablet/

However, the website doesn't provide proper screenshots or videos and
the demo version apparently stops working permanently after just 5
minutes!

Does anyone know of other programs that allow a PDA to be used as a
graphics tablet for handwriting input under Windows XP?

Why not just write a Pocket Word file and move it to the PC when you're
done? Sometimes, just to be different, I write an rtf or txt file.
