Hi,
As a registered user of FranklinCovey's PlanPlus for Outlook 5 I was
entitled to load Pocket Informant Evo for PlanPlus onto to my newly
purchased hTc P3400. However, being new to Pocket PC's I decided that
PI was over-complicated for my liking and uninstalled it using Remove
Programs. Now when I tap the Calendar soft key (bottom left) I get an
error message saying "The file 'PITab.exe' cannot be opened. Either it
is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components
cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file".
Furthermore, I now get no task or appoinment reminders (only the
backlight comes on - no sound) - and funnily enough (or not!) when I
hard reboot my device I get all the reminders sounds but no screen
notifications all at once. I have tried reinstalling and re-
unistalling PI but this did not solve the problem. Additionally I
contacted WebIS and they said I should uninstall and then unset PI as
the Default PIM before uninstalling again. I haven't done this as I do
not know where to change this setting. Has anyone perhaps any other
advice?

Try following the WebIS advice - The setting to make PI not the
default PIM is in PI - Menu - Tools and Settings - untick 'Make
Default PIM'.
