I'm using ActiveSync for my iPaq 4155 with Pocket PC 2003 on my Win XP
machine. I'm buying an AT&T Tilt Smartphone with WM6. Should I be able
to install the new version of ActiveSync for the smartphone on the same
computer and still use the older version for my older iPaq...or does it
have to be one or the other?

Thanks!
Scott

It has to be one or the other, but the latest version of ActiveSync
should work with your PocketPC 2003 device.

It's not actually one or the other. If you want the Tilt to sync, you will
have to use the newer version. But as Scott said AS 4.5 should work fine
with your 4155. In fact, most of the capability of AS3.8 will be there when
you connect the 4155, but you will be missing some options when you attach
the Tilt.

Sven,

I plan to use my iPaq 4155 very little, since it has a motherboard problem, which
is a reason why I'm upgrading to a Smartphone. Do you recommend I uninstall the
older version of ActiveSync before installing ActiveSyn for the Tilt Smartphone?

Thanks!
Scott
