I have read that you can read HTML email in Windows Mobile 6.0 but I can't
seem to find out how to make that happen...anyone have any ideas?

As far as I can tell, it "just happens"... The WM6 email
client displays HTML email just fine, and I don't think I did
anything to enable that functionality.

I use activesync to move my outlook messages to my mobile phone. But I
still can't see HTML messages as a webpage, do you think there could be a
reason?

Activesync probably doesn't know that inbox can now open html mail and
was probably structured to sync only plain text mail... seem to remember
that it would "convert" html mail to plain text at one point.

_If_ there are any options, they will probably be in the settings from
message sync or elsewhere in activesync... would highly doubt it though.

We are having a similar problem in WM5/WM6 that the pocket version of
Outlook or whatever comes as default is having a heckuva time with any
type of MIME multipart message downloaded from an IMAP server. It has
problems even if one of those multiple-parts is a plain text version of
the email. It just displays emptyness, and nothing else.

Getting to be a bigger and bigger problem with the amount of TEXT/HTML
multipart messages that places are starting to send.

Have yet to find a solution.

I am almost thinking perhaps it is a activesync or exchange server 2007
issue. Any thoughts??

For those wondering I have figured out the mystery. Windows Mobile 6.0
activesync will indeed download HTML email, until you sync it to your
exchange server 2003 with Activesync, then it blocks the option in the
software and you can't change the option any longer. So I would say that
it's an exchange issue.

Thanks
