I have a Compaq Ipaq Pocket PC 3955 -- which is currently running
Windows CE 3.0 -- can this be upgraded to run Windows Mobile 2003 or
Windows CE 4.0 ?
If so, how can I do it.
Would someone *please* e-mail me at cord@celebritydirect.net as I'm
not able to monitor this group often.

For Windows CE, and platforms like Pocket PC built on it, upgrades are
entirely up to the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer). In your
case that would be Compaq. I just used google advanced search
(http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en) to look up
ipaq 3955 upgrade
and got 28100 hits. I took a quick look and found one that pointed to
a ROM upgrade at the HP Business Support center.

There is "only" a WM2003 upgrade for the 39xx series. Make sure you get and
install it.
