Maybe I should switch to Quicken? Chester 06-24-2007, 08:55 PM Quicken is great, especially the 2007 version -- better yet, it has Pocket Quicken. Currently, Pocket Quicken is available for WM PPC's, with a WM Smartphone version due out this summer. http://www.landware.com "Barnabas Collins" <BarnabasCollinsonSF@gmail.com> wrote in message news:3ppt73tijnoiqo3g0ve8mcsn5gfpfj8pt8@4ax.com... > On Sun, 24 Jun 2007 14:56:12 -0400, "Ed Hansberry, MS-MVP/Mobile > Devices" <spamfree-silvernino@hotmail.spambegone.com> wrote: > >>"news.btinternet.com" <Arnoldbax@btinternet.com> wrote: >> >>>Can anyone confirm that Money for Pocket PC will not work on Windows >>>mobile >>>5? For Quicken users, Pocket Quicken is a much better choice, especially if you want investment accounts to sync between your desktop and your device. For Quicken 2007 users, Pocket Quicken is the only choice, as spb finance stops at the 2006 version. Quicken is worth a look, a couple weeks ago I decided to try it out, last time I did was a few years ago, and much preferred Money over the earlier version of Quicken, now the opposite. I do think Money is better when it comes to accessing your accounts on the web at MoneyCentral-though it often doesn't sync, or goes down for days at a time; and the Money Deluxe version includes a year of BillPay, which isn't included in any of the Quicken versions. For ease-of-use, and great visual summaries of your finances -- Quicken jumped way ahead with the 2007 version. Could all change when the 2008 versions come out ;) "Ed Hansberry, MS-MVP/Mobile Devices" <spamfree-silvernino@hotmail.spambegone.com> wrote in message news:ma7v7316j7tijvv59elvbmseankp2e3513@4ax.com... > You can still use Money on the PC with third party apps on the > PPC, like Spb Finance - > http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/finance/?en > Syncs with Money 2002-2007. CJJE 06-25-2007, 07:35 AM I can confirm that Money for Pocket PC v 2.05 WILL work on WM5! I've had it working on my Dell Axim X51v ever since I bought it, and it syncs via ActiveSync to Money on my WinXP desktop. (Think it is Money 2003 but not sure as I can't check it at present. I have also been using Quicken 2.5 for PPC and think its great. Unfortunately Quicken itself is no longer supported in the UK. Its my favorite finance programme and was curious that people are using the current version in the UK. Cheers. Thanks again.
