Bit technical is this so if your eyes start to glaze over.... sorry

My windows mobile based PDA uses ActiveSync to connect to a PC via a
cradle. This cradle also charges the PDA via USB. I don't yet have a
power cable so at the moment, this is the only way to charge it.
The problem is that it connects to the PC and tries to do a sync every
time I put the PDA in the cradle. If I turn the PDA off, it switches
itself back on after a minute or so and tries to sync again.
All the sync settings on the PC AND the PDA are set to "manual sync".
The "Peak times" are set as being anytime between 5am and 4am.
There are no alterations that need to be synched.
Any clues how to stop it apart from chucking it through the window?
BTW, it isn't broke, this seems to just be what they are supposed to
do
Cheers for any info.
Steve

That did the trick.
Thank you, Martin.
I owe you a beer.
