Here's something you could try: sync with desktop, undock your Pocket
PC, rename a file called repl.dat and then re-sync with your desktop.
You will be asked if you wish to combine or delete items on the Pocket
PC. Choose to delete. This SHOULD repair the database and messages
should begin disappearing once again. If this doesn't work, let me
know. Good luck!

Hi Jared,

I've had this problem since I received my Pocket PC, and have been working
with Microsoft for over a month to identify the problem. Your suggestion is
a simpler workaround than deleting the partnership, but at least for me, the
problem eventually returns. This problem has been documented in the
newsgroup a number of times. Any suggestions on a permanent fix? I use
ActiveSync 3.6 (Build 2148) on a Windows XP Pro system with Outlook 2002
SP-2. Thanks!

Thanks Jared.

I can't find any file called repl.dat

Do you mean create a file called repl.dat or am I not
looking in the right places?

Cheers
Peter
