We have several PDA/Smartphones in our organization. I believe I have
only noticed this issue with the Treo 700W devices, but we may have
some Motorola Q's with the same problem - not sure yet (all devices
use Verizon, if that matters). Anyway, all these PDA's are setup to
synchronize email directly to the exchange server. Most of the time
when you delete an email on the device it almost immediately deletes
it off the server. However, this often stops working. For some
users, it always works. Others, it sometimes works. And for some it
never works. We have only figured out one way to cure this - delete
the users mailbox from exchange and set it up again. Then it starts
working reliably again. Anybody else figured out a better solution to
this problem?
