I understood that only the OS resides in ROM in a PPC (WM2003SE & Asus A730
in my case).
Now after removing the CF card and SD card, I still find custom files in the
device...
Also, I tried searching files by extension (*.ov2) like I often do on the
desktop, but it seems I cannot search files this way on the PPC? Is there no
way to display the whole path when exploring files on a PPC? (The PPC does
not have a device letter?)
I still find it very confusing to be sure what I'm doing and where I am in
WM-land! Files and folders seem to be displayed in a very confusing manner.
The need for all this is that I want to remove an app. temporarily from the
PPC, but I want to make sure I can put it back again without causing
something irreversible!
