View Full Version : Flexmail ripoff
I downloaded and paid for Flexmail 2007 but the installation could not complete because
"the installation file was not intended for this version of your device (Acern30B, WM
2003) !!
Is there a way of bypassing this problem, since I shelled out $12.95 ??
Please help.
Thanks.

How did you try the install?
I have Flexmail and installed it via activesync on WM2003se
Its a great program however you should be aware of a small bug. If your
device does not have SMS facility, make sure you do not set Flexmail as the
default mail/sms program, choose mail only. If you choose the sms option
and do not have sms, then you will get a sync error each time you use
activesync saying tmail.exe cannot be found. Providing you change this
option you will not get the error.

Or you if you do set it inadvertently, as I did, you can just go to the
Windows directory and delete tmail.exe. That's what I did and I stopped
getting the error.
Realise also there are no refunds since, as stated prior to purchasing,
WebIS does offer a trial so you can try before you buy.
Don
I tried installing via ActiveSync, but, as i said, the installation did not proceed at
all. There is NOTHING on the PPC: no files, no directories. My OS is WM2003, period. No
SE.

Did you manage to install the trial version before buying it?
