Windows Mobile 2003 ver 4.21.1088

Why can't you exit a program? It looks like you're exiting, but if you go
to running programs, it shows you're still running all the programs you've
started. I have to go there all the time to actually stop the programs. Is
this a problem with Windows or with the programs? Is there a fix? New
version of Win Mobile?

Also the PPC (iPaq RX3115) locks up a lot. It's a real problem to reset it.
Usually have to play with it for a half hour or so to reset.

By design, Windows Mobile only minimizes apps. When you tap the X
button, the applications keep running in the background and this
behaviour tends to affect your device responsiveness. There are several
Task Managers that you can use to truely close any open application. I
use Magic button. This app is free and it will replace the default X.
Note that future devices from HTC will have a task manager builtin.

Download Magic button
