My wife and I both have Cingular 8125 pocket pc phones. Mine works
beautifully.

Several times a day, my wife's pocket pc screen gets completely out of
alignment. In fact, it get SO out of alignment that it's really hard to
re-align. (The screen taps go somewhere completely different.)

She downloaded and applied the latest ROM patch and re-installed
everything, but the problem persists.

Has anybody experienced this? Is there a solution?

It's dying. Get it replaced before it gets worse. My MDA (the T-Mo
version of the 8125) did the same until eventually a dime-sized spot in
the center of the screen stopped responding to screen taps altogether
(making alignment impossible!)

It's a hardware defect that will only get worse. Replace it while you're
still under warranty.
