I have a client that is using a Imate Jasjar and syncing via the Internet
using Exchange Active Sync. This works really well, except it does not
display HTML formatted emails as expected. It only shows Plain text portion
of the emails, and missies out the majority of the URL's from the HTML
formatted emails. This is not just for emails from one aprticular sender it
appears to be all HTML formatted emails.
If I forward the emails in Outlook, change them to plain text, the URL's are
visible, and remove the < and > characters from the beginning and the end of
the URL and resend them we can view them on the Jasjar as plain text emails.
Can someone tell me if the device supports HTML formatted emails or not, or
is it a Windows Mobile 5 issue.

THanks
CLarke

You must use alternate, HTML-compatible mailer clients for rendering HTML
e-mails. Please see the Mailer Bible

at for more info.

depending on your provider, you might also use their web mail interface.

These vary by provider and the package they use... mine (an independent)
uses SquirrelMail which offers configuration options to ease the small
screen woes.

Others, such as Yahoo, offer mobile friendly mail access options.
