I've got a UTStarcomPPC 6700 that works quite well for me. It's my first
PPC and the only program that flat out does not work, and never did, is the
Pictures and Videos. It locks up first time every time. Both before and
after I updated the firmware from the manufacturer and a couple of initial
hard resets.

Any ideas short of a hard reset?

Strange it's behaving so bad.

If you can't make it work, use a third-party image viewer; most importanly,
that of Resco. See the review of the just-released, latest version at

Sounds like a strange problem. Is the camera itself working? And if it is,
what happens when you go to view a just recently taken picture?
