I have a O2 Atom Windows mobile based hansheld. I am wondering if
someone knows how to set the phone notificatin for a specific period.

Ideally I would like to be able to set the notification type from the
Clander app so for example when I create have a calendar item entry for
a meeting I could set the notification to meeting automatically for the
duration of the event. I am currently using informant as the calendar
app and it does not have this facility.

Alternatively I would like to be able to set a selected notification
type for a defined period so that I don't have to keep remembering to
turn it back after the meeting.

Is there some software that can help me do this easily?

Cheers
TonyS.

Try PhoneAlarm - definitely allows this. There is a similar product, Pocket
Zen Phone, which might do it; I don't know for sure because I don't use it.
I do suggest doing a backup before installing either of these programs, and
giving them a tryout before purchase, as results seem a bit variable.
