while updating sp26263 rom update via usb, the update failed. now i
have a parrot screen "1.07 1.07 hp invent" A hard boot won't clear.
and my pc will now not recognize the usb connection as i am sure my
pocket pc has been wiped. is there any way to reflash my device? SD?

The only option I can suggest is to;

reboot your pc

assure that nothing else is running

connect your ppc

run the update software...

There is a slight chance that usb communication is possible and that the
update software might be able to connect and restart the update process.

Unfortunately, if not, your _only_ option is to return the device to hp
for a hardware reflash.
