In the UK, most networks do NOT now broadcast this information. They used to as some networks allowed for cheaper "local" calls' ie same area code. Also different networks may use different channels to 050 The only way to know what is on which channel is to ask you service provider (but in most cases they will not know or don't want you to know!).
