Hello,

Yes, there are several. One of the more popular ones is Qusentsoft
Newsreader. You can get information on it at

Qusenetsoft Newsreader is a very good product once you get it set up right
and suffer through the occasional timeouts & lockups while accessing some
newsgroups and some news articles.

That said and despite initial frustrations l registered it and it has been
well behaved since. Don't think there is a connection.

From what I can gather the choices are slim for a good combined Usenet &
RSS reader and Qusenetsoft Newsreader is the best of what is there.

Best Regards

If you're sending someone some Styrofoam,
what do you pack it in?

I use the D-Link wireless storage routers with good success. They have 2 USB
slots that can take either a USB HDD or a printer. I'll have to give
printing a try, should be interesting. it's not the ease of an SD slot but
you would need a power supply anyway.
On another note I do have an Apacer brand share steno hdd case
http://www.apacer.com that has a 80gb lappy HDD inside it is powered by it's
own (nokia type) battery so is good for about 3 hours use. Using card export
on the hx4700 2003se I can use it to copy new content onto the cards from
the 80 gig. The Apacer interface only shows 8.3 dos filenames but I can live
with that. I have seen some hdd cases that allow one touch backup but this
allows selecting and copying from the HDD onto the device. For faster
copying you can use a card reader.
For the people that want to be too flash there is a model with a cd burner,
you can burn cds without a PC, that's mobility.

If you want too many extras a laptop is better.

Thanks, Brad. I've decided the lack of bluetooth support and Dell's NO
FIXES attitude and lies telling me there is no bluetooth drivers for WM5,
where the hands-free audio or stereo audio is clearly greyed out is
unacceptable. There are other issues with incessant crashing just sitting
there, too. So, back she goes in the morning and I'll go back to my
Gateway XP Pro notebook I can depend on....

See my thread with a copy of Dell's Indian TSR response/scripts on another
thread.

Good luck to you. I now have 4GB more SD memory in the laptop....much
slower than my 2.2GB Monstor USB tiny hard drive, but may be usable,
someplace.

Bye...(snif)

In the future with technology that is new to you it is best to spend a
little time on the newsgroups before you purchase. That's what I did when I
was looking, the blurb written about the device at point of sale will not be
unbiased.
On the other hand don't try the "which one should I buy?" approach. Read
the problems people have and make the decision if you can live with that.
Every device has shortfalls, most have a work around.
Although I chose not to get the x51v and settled with an older hx4700
because it had solutions at the time that the Dell did not the Dell is a
pearl of a device once it is sorted out.
