Hi Jesper and Stuart,

For data transfer, you might want to use a third-party application for file
compression, such as RESCO Zipper, in order to ease the file transfer
process. These are the steps to perform easy file transfer:
- From 3970:
Compress all files and folder with their original structure into a single
Zip file.
You might need to compress files and folder to several Zip files in order
to avoid a single large Zip file.
I read several threads here about problems with large file transfer.
- From 3970:
Transfer the Zip file(s) to an empty folder on your desktop PC's
harddrive, as the temporary storage.
- Switch the device currently connected with ActiveSync to 5450.
- From desktop PC:
Transfer the Zip file(s) to 5450.
- From 5450:
Uncompress the Zip file(s).

Good luck.

| No, I tried this when I wanted to get the apps and data from my 3970 to my
| 5450 - it gives you a warning that it can't do it. Whilest the appas are
| easily installable because they exist in Activesync and you just have to
check
| the boxes for the new device, the data is trickier, I ended up just
copying
| individual files to an SD card and doing it that way.
