Well I just my pda back from ipaqrepair.com.. They fixed the backlight, but now my pda won't charge. I doubt they did anything cause it did charge once to my recolection. Does anyone know if there is a registry key in the pda that would affect this? Lemme know, thanks.

I don't think there is anything like that in the registry. However have you tried doing a hard reset? If that does not work it sounds like you have a defective unit.

Such a pain... I can never get ahead with this pda. I guess I'll have to send it out again to ipaqrepair.com... Just a quick question, is it possible for me to buy a battery and install it myself or should I just send back to a repair shop? I have opened the pda once just to see what it looked like so I do know where the battery is. The ipaq is out of warranty, and Ipaqrepair.com wants $70 to fix it. Would it be cheaper to order the battery elsewhere and place it in myself?
