I finally abandoned my Handspring (well, the touchscreen malfunctioned)
and set up the Axim X50V that I'd bought last year. I'm on the steep
part of the learning curve and trying to adapt to a different system,
though overall I'm fairly pleased with my new tool. I used PocketCopy
2005 to transfer the info from the Palm software to Outlook (I never
used Outlook prior to this--Mozilla is my e-mail software). After going
through the entire routine, it said it "failed" but everything seemed to
have been transferred, I began using the Axim.

There is one strange thing that may or may not be related to the above
situation. Using the Axim, when I am in Contacts and choose a name and
expand it, there is no information in the Notes field. However, when I
use the Find function from the Start menu and look for that same
address, all the info is in Notes that was originally in my Handspring.
Outlook also shows the info in the Notes field of the Contacts list.

Anyone have any insights on this and how I might remedy it?
