Greetings everyone,

I was trying to activate the Microsoft Reader on my new h5450 last night
when I experienced this problem:

Microsoft's activation site refused to activate the application and
mentioned that I have an older Pocket PC version.

So, I wonder what version is the PocketPC (OS) flashed into h5450's ROM.
Failing from the activation process, I still have been able to use Microsoft
Reader to open and read eBooks.

Does anyone knows? And does anyone has a solution for me to activate the
application?

TIA.

T-Shirt.

If that fails - have you activated the desktop yet? Also, I had a
friend with this problem and he traced to to a JVM problem so he
reinstalled Java VM from www.sun.com
