David Cleland 08-08-2006, 06:20 AM hi I am on orange uk and have discovered over the last few days that my pocket pc is saying E instead of G ? does that mean I am using edge instead of grps ? just I only have gprs on my account as far as I know. It should show the technology available but doesn't always. My K-Jam only shows G, and the hack to show E doesn't work. I can however verify E speeds with DSL reports and I know that Edge is available in my area. Not entirely sure it is possible for a carrier to restrict an instrument from using the technology that is available.
