I cannot get icons for shortcuts to CP applets to show up in Today screen
launcher correctly on my PPC 6700 w/ WM 5. I have tried downloading the
prepared file posted by Werner but it gave me the default icon for each
shortcut. I tried editing the shortcuts, looking into cplmain.dll and others,
but can't even find the icons. Am I missing something and why is this so
hard? I donloaded Shortcut Manger, copied the shortcut paths to a new lnk
file,and still couldn't get icons to show up! When I tried the latter, I
could only get a blank (or invisible) icon!

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, may be you could find a solutio at www.phm.lu , the site of an european
developperwho hava created a lot of small utilities and standard shortcut..

Thanks, but that solution is not quite what I was looking for--it would work,
but it doesn't reduce the steps to the endpoint, as would a nice simple way
to create shortcuts in my free launcher program. Mind you I can buy programs
that do this with ease, I just would like not to have to do that. Thanks for
