View Full Version : Active Sync - Notes

Active Sync will sync my Notes but only if they are stored in the My
Documents folder of the pocket pc's main memory. There are no settings
for syncing Notes. I prefer to keep my Notes in a folder of my SD card
and use Pocket Diary with its Notes folders functions. How can I sync
these with my desktop PC? Incidentally, I use Active Sync 3.8 (because
it will remote sync, unlike 4.2).

As far as I know, Active sync will only sync with your main memory "My
Documents" and will not sync anything on a Storage Card.

I just found this thread for backing up your storage card with Total
Commander. Sure it won't put these notes in Outlook for you, but at least
you'll have them saved somewhere. I suggest you save notes in main memory
if you want them to sync to Outlook.
