View Full Version : XV6700 problems when hot.

I was out in the sun for a long time yesterday, and there was no shade and
my XV6700 felt a little warm to the touch. Then I went to turn it on, and
it wouldn't. When I finally was able to leave and the PPC got back to
normal temps, it seemed to work fine. Is this a normal thing (like the
processor gets too hot?), or do I have a problem with my XV6700? It was in
its case at the time, but it was a hot day, and no shade anywhere (as my
burnt face can attest to). Damn graduations.

That sounds like a problem with the device. I was outside all day yesterday
as well and my PPC6700 worked fine the whole time.

I would also agree. I have the same phone as you and was at a concert
in 94 degree weather from noon to about 9 last night moving around
constantly, and it worked reliably all day.
