The Block Recognizer's echo of your letter strokes is a great feature.
However, echo is on when you write your pocket PC's password.
Hey, THERE's a great WM5 security feature.
How do you defeat it?

Personally, I'd not want to defeat it. The error rate when using any kind of
handwriting recognition is quite high. Having at least some form of knowing
what the PPC thought you wrote will save you a lot of time and frustration.
Also, keeping the PPC screen out of sight from onlookers is usually not too
difficult.
