My HP Jornada 548 has been dying hard lately -after a full recharge, it
comes up remembering absolutely nothing - can't find loaded programs or
saved files. A few minutes later, it goes completely dead. I figure it's
time for a new battery. Looking online, though, I see two types offered -
an F1798 and an F1823A. Which would be the right one? And is there a
trusted seller the experienced folks here could point me towards?
Thanks.

Hi Ed,
AFAIK, the F1823A is the SKU for J540 model. F1798-60918 is the SKU of the
battery for the J520 and J540 series.

Thank you. I'd upgrade devices, but I figure a battery is cheaper and
easier than getting a new device and all new programs.
