.... you can find WEAK sides of Windows Mobile phones!
I am huge supporter of Windows Mobile phones, but sometimes it is good to
know weak sides too, particularly when you are buying new mobile phone...
While usually all msmobiles.com podcasts ( http://podcasts.msmobiles.com )
are either about latest news about Windows Mobile phones OR interviews with
people related to Windows Mobile phones, this one is exceptional and just
underlines weak points of Windows Mobile phones. Every Microsoft employee of
mobile division + Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates should listen to it.

LOL...good post.
Podcasts are becoming more popular and here we are having to resort to using
Apple software (iTunes) for a decent application to download them. Worse
yet...we have no good podcast manager in the native windows apps.
Podcast/RSS downloaders would be very welcome additions to the base apps from
MS. While we're at it... how about some additional codecs for media player
so that we can keep Pod-Envy to a minimum. KATU news in Portland puts out
their AM broadcast on a podcast but I have to load the CORE media player to
view it.
I'd just sync it to my PPC, but Activesync doesn't support syncs to memory
cards. (Yes, i know there are 3rd party workarounds for this.) It seems
that would be a very simple addition to AS.
Cheers!
- Richard

hiya Richard and others! there are 3rd party app to download podcasts
directly to Windows Mobile devices (through Wi-Fi or cellular data), however
you are right that it is pity that Microsoft is not providing podcast
downloading through Windows Media player like it is with iTunes.
Moreover newly released Nokia N91 (the one with hard disk 4GB and with
Wi-Fi) has podcast downloading software pre-installed, so it is time that
Microsoft will understand it too... ;-)
