Hi there,

I have recently replaced my Compaq iPAQ 3850 with a nice shiny HP
hx2190 (UK model).

Two stupid questions from someone who <should> know better.

(1) I see I have 'integrated Bluetooth' for short-range wireless
connection to other BT enabled devices.... If I want to connect to the
Internet wirelessly (in a hotel or airport for example), do I need a
Wi-Fi card (either SD or CF) ? If so, can someone recommend one that is
Windows Mobile 5 compatible ? Thanks.
(I tried to install the software for Socket's Low Power SDIO Wireless
LAN card and the PPC said that it wouldn't install. Seemed like it was
for either PPC versions 2002 or 2003. NOT Windows Mobile 5. Any ideas?

(2) I was used to having the iPAQ "File Store" on the old Compaq. I
portion of memory that was NOT wiped when the battery lost its charge.
Which folders (now renamed in Windows Mobiel 5) are the equivalent on
the hx2190?

Thanks,

John

WM5 uses persistant storage and doesn't need a file store. As for the
wireless conn you could go with either CF or SD doesn't really matter just
so it will work with WM5
Check this out for some ideas....
