I have recently purchased an iPaq 3955 and have read that
there are companies that can increase the iPaq to 125 MB
of memory. Does anyone have comments, either positive or
negative about upgrading?

Nobody will do it to 125, that isn't possible. PPCTechs (www.ppctechs.com)
will do it to 128mb and people have been very satisfied.

Expansys advertise the PPCTechs upgrades
http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=PPCT_64MB128MBNAT

They say there's a 7-21 day turn-around time. If that's anything like
their availability estimates I'd expect it back sometime in 2005.

So, have any UK PAQers used the Expansys service?

These opinions have not been passed by 3 committes, 7 subcommittees
and 2 working parties. So they can't be the opinions of my employer

I've ordered stuff from them and it's always arrived within a couple of
days.

Most recently a Stylus holder replacement kit...
