Hi,

Is anyone aware of issue with 6500 series and memory card (sd).

Whenever I insert the card it ask to reformat, but I cannot access it
even if I approve the format.

I can access and format from PC ands older Ipaq.

Any clues?

Sounds like a hardware problem. Try another card if that still doesn't work
it looks like it's time to check the warranty.

Actually I am not sure any more.

I have SD card 2GB and one small one 128MB, none are recognized by the
new Ipaq, when I insert it asks to format, when I format I still cannot
see it.
When I reset the device, it ask again to format, till here it can be
clear indication its the new PDA.

But I have old Ipaq and SD slot on my laptop, before I could move the
SD freely between the Ipaq and the laptop, now when I insert to the
laptop it asks to format it, when format, I can access the card, copy
files to it, but when I move it to the old Ipaq, it also asks to format
and then I can access it, the only way I can access the SD card is by
formatting on Ipaq and using Activsync.

So maybe its the format system, although I tried FAT and FAT32.

Actually I am sure its not HW problem, I found another SD card (Sandisk
256MB) and it is recognized easily by laptop and my new Ipaq, so its
either the fact thew other SD is 2GB or ????
