Does anybody know of any universal remote software (preferably freeware)
that is supported in WM 5.0? I've tried a few programs, but so far I can't
find one that actually works at all.

I looked for this type of software when I first got my Axim x51v in
November. I never really got around to trying it due to all the mixed
reviews I found on the products. Some people said that the IR range is too
short to be effective as a remote control. That probably depends on the
type of device you have. Some of the manufacturers of these types of
software also sell extenders that plug into your device to improve the
range.
I don't believe there are any good freeware programs out there. This thread
seems to have alot of info.
