I have been looking on google, but every page I try to access crashes this
machine. But does anyone know where in the registry I make such a change?

Best thing is to use RegKing or Tweaks2k2. They do that at the blink of an

If you're comfortable editing the Registry, you can make the change
yourself. If not, use one of the programs mentioned already.

In my Registry, the entry to identify it as version 6.0 is in
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet
Settings\5.0\User Agent

The String Value is
Version = MSIE6.0

I did an Export for the entire Registry key that I'll paste below.

eat some of it, that will make PIE 5.5
