There is one thing about Windows Mobile Second edition (version 4.21.1088)
that annoys me. Whenever I hit the Start menu on screen button I get a loud
beep, and whenever I choose an option I get a loud *pop.*
How can I get rid of these sounds without shutting off sound to my machine?

On the start menu, settings, then tap sounds and Notifications and remove
the Events tick
Should do the trick

I think you'll need to live with the "Start (menu)" sound.
For screen taps try | Start (menu) | Settings | Sounds & Notifications | and
uncheck "Screen taps" and "Hardware buttons"
If you uncheck "Events (warnings, system events)" you'll lose the sound with
tapping "Start" but other sounds as well.

I think I might have to live with this too if the alternative is removing
"events, warnings" as well. I take it by resorting to "event" sounds I will
lose the warnings that tell me my meeting times.
What about some sort of hack or application that can eliminate just the
annoying start menu beep and program selection pop?
