I have a Ipaq 3670, older model running 2002.
I installed Net Comact Frameworks.
I installed XM Radio and Pocket Streamer Pro and none of them works.
When I tap on one of them, all it does is beep and nothing else.
I have Pocket Pc media player 8.0 installed.
Anything else I need to get them running.
I am running Wi-Fi and a gprs card.
My internet is working fine with both cards.
Thanks for anyones help
Brad

First of all verify that you can stream okay from a standard source - it
removes the issues specific to the two programs first (both of which utilize
MP underneath).

Try www.thestreamcenter.com/PDA and http://mobile.minixm.com.

(BTW, please try not to crosspost alt newsgroups with the microsoft ones -
the people that use the Microsoft server directly do not have access to the
alt groups).

Sorry about crossing newsgroups.
I tried using http://mobile.minixm.com/
MP opens and it ask me if I want to download file.
I tried to download it and it does not work.

Try opening the link to a stream - not the site - from
www.thestreamcenter.com/PDA directly in media player (Open URL). IIRC that
was supported in 8. Given the device age you may have to try it from a
desktop machine to get the link.

This will tell you if you can stream at all with the current setup.

Also remember that you can install TCPMP for a lot of streaming options as
well.

Finally, how about trying a demo of resco radio to see if that works.

Good Luck.

Thanks for the help,
Resco Radio works fine.
Now if I can only get everything else to work :)

Got a HP 5500 and everything works fine. I guess the Ipaq 3670 isn't made
for this.

Try minixm.com - http://mobile.minixm.com. The free service works great
and translates/opens the selected channel in Windows Media.
