Hello,
Does anybody have a similar problem.
The first time I upgraded from 4.0 to 4.1. If you go to
ActiveSync > Help > About MS ActiveSync it shows 4.1 build 4841
However,
Going to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > MS ActiveSync shows
4.0
Has anybody faced the same issue?
People who installed 4.1 straight away without upgrading, have you had
any similar issue?
I tried:
Uninstalling 4.1, delete Rapi.dll and ceutil.dll, delete all files in
%temp% and then tried installing ActiveSync 4.1 again.
Same message appears.
Feedbacks are welcome..

I've never even downloaded AS 4.0, only 4.1. And my Add/Remove Programs
says "Microsoft ActiveSync 4.0". Re-using version numbers must be a feature
the Enterprise crowd wanted...

No, it's the result of someone that hasn't got the education to program, so
they assign them to creating installation packages, and that's what you get.
