This doesn't have a lot to do with Pocket PC, but maybe someone can give
me directions.

Where would I buy the rubber pads for the back of an Axim X5? I've
checked all over ebay, but X5's go for stupid amounts of money (even the
broken ones!) and besides that, I'm not interested in an entire unit.
I've never seen them on Dell's site and Dell hasn't emailed me back to
tell me if I can buy them or not. I've posted a few requests to buy
them in forums, without any luck.

Does anyone here have any they'd be willing to sell a set? Otherwise,
where would I get them?

I did not see the parts you are looking for but they do buy old units and if
you call them they may be able to help you out with parts not seen on the

Thanks.....I forgot I posted this message and only found your reply
tonight. I've already tried that site. I emailed them, but haven't
heard back.

might try an old potters trick...

lay down some plastic wrap, overfill the foot holes with silicon seal
then put the unit down on the wrap with a coin or two under the top edge
to set the thickness and allow to dry overnight.

neatness counts ;-)
