Hi folks,

Can anyone help finding a program? I need something that will show battery
and memory on the taskbar, or at least have it a click away? I find it's
something I need to constantly access, so would rather have a shortcut or
symbol if at all possible.

I'm using a Dell Axim X50V.

TIA

Google for POCKETPC CONTROL PANEL SHORTCUTS

msdn has a page showing how to construct shortcuts to get to these directly.

Personally, I would suggest installing vbar from vieka.com as it's tiny
icon can be set to show both of your needs which are then always visible.

Thanks for the reply, I'll try both and see which suits me best :-)

iLauncher will allow you to put icons in the taskbar, which can include
shortcuts to settings. Better still, it includes meters, so you can put the
battery and memory meters directly in the bar, no need to click at all.

iLauncher also lets you put sets of icons on your today screen for one tap
opening of programs. Costs $8.95 and is one of my must have apps.

WM 5.0 does this already out of the box. My Ipaq HX2495
did it right out of the box after charging. (By taskbar do you mean
the today screen? The taskbar would presumably take you to
the battery level where the today screen on WM 5.0 actually
displays the battery level and memory.)
