Can i access broadband internet on a bluetooth enabled Pocket PC. (WM 2003,
Ipaq
2210). My PC has Wanadoo Broadband. I have a Mikomi 100m bluetooth dongle
and BlueSoleil software. If it
is possible then how can i do it ?
Kind Regards
Andrew
Easiest way is to just use active sync.
In BlueSoleil make sure the serial ports are below 10 (in xp you can change
this with device manager) then in active sync window - FILE - CONNECTION
SETTINGS - point the com port to the serial port you made in BlueSoleil:
on the ppc in Bluetooth manager run through the active sync using Bluetooth
procedure again pointing to the com port you made in BlueSoleil. when you
want the internet double click on the active sync shortcut in Bluetooth
manager and you're away (hopefully).
Quick note: BlueSoleil is a bit anal about those serial port numbers and if
you change the port number you may have to start the serial port service
each reboot. Hope I've helped.
