Hi I need to make a time delay after which the PDA Scanner should be
able to scan the data. this i need becuase its causing problem in my
threading as user goes on scanning the data while my program is doing
some of its tasks. i need to to either stop the scan for a delay or
when the entire program has executed the user should be able to scan
before that the scan should not work . I have a symbol PDA 8100

Programming questions are far more likely to get answers in a
newsgroup devoted to programming. If you are not using a .NET
language, them microsoft.public.pocketpc.developer is a likely choice.
If you are using a .NET language, I suggest using google
http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search) to find a good
newsgroup. For example, I just searched for
c# cf scanner
and got 394 hits, including several in a likely newsgroup.
