I am looking for a kind of pocketpc / pda which i could use with a tiny
camera linked through USB or some kind.
Do you know of any such a thing ?
Thanks for any answer,

ppc's have cameras but they generally don't support cable connections...

There are also wifi cameras that could be used with a ppc as the cameras
transmit their images via a wireless network connection.

Could you post a bit more about what your specific needs are?

You can get PDA's that have digital cameras built in. HP makes at least
one, and I think the UT Starcom (Sprint) 6700 has one as well. You can also
get CompactFlash and SD camera's (look up www.veo.com). Can't comment on
the quality of any of the solutions, though, as I haven't used them. You
might want to post (as Beverley says) what your purpose is.

Keep in mind that many digital cameras use memory cards that are compatible
with different organizers. You can also get CompactFlash USB host cards
that MAY allow you to plug a digital camera into them, although you might
have fun finding drivers to communicate with the cameras.

The best would be a pda with some hard disk, to record input from a video
camera linked through a thin cable to the pda. Nothing like a built-in
camera, but through cables. A tiny camera.

As mentioned, as far as I know, there is currrently no camera cable
attachment option for ppc's.

If you are going to ask the same question in multiple newsgroups,
please post to all newsgroups at once, so everyone can see the whole
discussion. I responded to your post in comp.sys.handhelds, although I
think you got better answers here.
